Weekend at Grandma Page's

Grandma Page let Jed stay the night for a weekend while John and I went to Jackpot. He enjoyed playing with her and Alexander. He also got to spend some time with Anna & Aaron and Jim & Renae. Thank you for letting Jed stay with you Denise!!

John & I Went 4-Wheeling

John and I went 4-wheeling one Sunday in Ririe. We found some good trails and there weren't too many people out. Thanks Grandma & Grandpa for babysitting; it's nice to get out just the two of us sometimes!

Kid's Day at the Greenbelt

Suzy and I took the kids to a children's celebration at the Greenbelt this summer. They had a lot of activities for kids like painting, blowing bubbles, sand art, and a large xylophone. Jed and Sophi particularly loved the xylophone; anytime they can have something that hits and makes noise they are happy campers. Kids are a good excuse to stay young, so Suzy and I also had fun hula-hooping, coloring, and gluing sand art :)

Jed could spend all day throwing rocks...

Jed is starting to play with and get into everything he can get near. One of his favorite things to do is empty cubbies and climb into them.

Happy Birthday Grandpa Bryan!

We spent the afternoon up in Palisades for Bryan's birthday. We sure had a lot of fun, and the kids LOVED playing in the dirt and rocks!

A Day at the Fair

We spent the day at the fair with my family on Saturday. It was so much fun! Jed loved all the horses and rides. It got so hot in the afternoon that we kept drenching Jed with water to keep him cool.

Sid's Birthday Campout

For Sid's birthday we had a campout in his back yard. We pitched a tent, Ben & Suzy slept on the tramp, and Jim & Renee pitched a tent too. Denise spoiled us all with great food the whole time we were there. We've all decided to make this an annual tradition.

Riding the Llama

Daniel & Vanessa gave all the kids a ride on his llama one day after dinner. They all had so much fun, but I don't think Jed quite knows what to do around animals yet...

A Look Back on Jed's First Year

Happy 4th of July!

Jed and I went to the parade for the 4th. He loved the go-karts, horses, and bikers. Afterwards we went to the greenbelt with Daniel, Vanessa, Landon, and Ava. Landon and Ava had their faces painted, but the lady was only able to get a small swipe of paint on Jed before he decided he didn't like it. So, I say he got a really tiny firework painted on his hand...

Hiking Packsaddle Lake

John took a Friday off work and we went on a hike to Packsaddle Lake. It was beautiful. Since we don't have a backpack that carries Jed, John carried him the whole way. Jed sure got a kick out of it!

Walking on a Ririe Trail

We took a picnic and walked along this trail in Ririe on Jed's birthday. It was a lot of fun and the weather was perfect. This trail gives a great view over the valley, as you can see.
