Woo Hoo for Dads and Moms!

John and I are both so grateful for our parents. My mom and dad are always so good to cook dinner for us on Sundays. Here is my dad making his famous fish for our homemade fish fry. Yum yum! And I thought this was a good picture of my mom.

Welcome Davis!

Here is my newest nephew, Davis, born to my brother Daniel and his wife Vanessa. Isn't he a cutie! I'm going to have to get a photo of my other nephew who was also born in October to John's sister Christina and her husband Joe.

Little Buddies

Now that Jed is getting older he is more fun to play with. Him and Ava have become little buddies running around the house playing. It is fun to watch him interact with other kids; he is growing up so fast!

Hooray for Shilynn!

We Love You Shilynn!

When Shilynn was in town we had a baby shower for her. We had lots of good food, good fun, and good people. Here you can see Ava eating one of the prizes from a game, the cookie looks bigger than she is :)

Playing in the Leaves

Jed is getting to such a fun age. He loves to help and this day he wanted to help John and I with raking and mowing before winter set in.

Boo at the Zoo

All of the kids together before we went into the zoo. Ava was a Kitty, Jed was Scooby Doo, Landon was a Ninja Turtle, Abby was a Princess, and Sophie was Minnie Mouse.

We only saw one other Ninja Turtle the whole night, so we had to get a picture of them together.

They had set up a lot of little games for the kids to do in the petting zoo area. In this game they had toys hidden in the straw. Jed just liked playing in the straw, forget the toys :)

The zoo had set up hundreds of pumpkins (real and fake). Ava saw a row of these purple pumpkins and wanted to get her picture by one since it's her favorite color.

Every adult we walked by looked at Jed and said "Scooby Dooby Doo" just like in the cartoon. He sure had fun looking at all the strangely dressed people and glittery lights.

I tried to get a shot of all the lights that they had strung up everywhere. This doesn't do it justice though. The zoo sure does put a lot of work into this event and we really enjoyed it!

Suzy & Ben's Halloween Party

We went to a party at Ben & Suzy's for Halloween. It was fun to have everyone get together and dress up. Jed was on a serious sugar high after eating doughnuts and candy all night, but as you can see in the photo, he was sure to brush his teeth afterwards :)

Our First Hunting Trip

This was the first hunting trip for both Jed and I. We went with my mom and dad and hiked for about 15 minutes (it was really cold), fished at the lake for about 5 minutes (it was really, really cold), and then found out that we were good at sitting by the fire and getting warm. Jed became entranced by the fire, but still found it hard to fall asleep when there were so many other fun things to do, like stay up late watching videos and eating potato chips with us in the camper :)

P.S. Mom shot a deer (3x4) on the opening day of hunting season. Congratulations!

Playing with Grandma Lawanna and Aunt Cory

Lawanna and Cory (Sid's mom & sister) came to visit Jed, Abby, and Sophie. The kids took a little while to warm up, but they sure had fun once they relaxed.

Best Friends & Buttin' Heads

I babysat Alexander, or I should say that he came over to play because he was the easiest kid ever to watch. Jed and Alexander just played the entire time. They chased each other all around the house, played with the toys together and maneuvered through the kitchen chairs like it was a fun little maze to explore. The funniest thing is that everytime they caught up with each other they would butt heads and then bust up laughing!

Weekend at Grandma Page's

Grandma Page let Jed stay the night for a weekend while John and I went to Jackpot. He enjoyed playing with her and Alexander. He also got to spend some time with Anna & Aaron and Jim & Renae. Thank you for letting Jed stay with you Denise!!
