Happy Birthday Ava!

My niece, Ava, had her "Under the Seas" birthday party at Rigby Lake this year. It was so much fun because Jed and Sophie had never played in sand before. It was a full time job trying to keep them from eating it, even though there were much better things to eat, like cupcakes (which Jed thoroughly enjoyed)! Thank you Vanessa and Dan for inviting us to such a fun party!

We had a going away party for Shilynn and Kevin last Sunday. They have been assigned to Texas and have to move right away. I decided to play Frank Sinatra in honor of them, since they both love him. We'll miss you guys and love you much!

Picnic at Freeman Park

Freeman Park is probably my favorite park in Idaho Falls. It is right by the river, has mature trees, and a person can always find a nice shady spot to enjoy a Saturday afternoon. Jed and I had lunch and then shared a slice of German Chocolate cake, and you can see by the pictures that he absolutely loved it!

Remember our Loved Ones

This year as a family we wanted to spend more of our Memorial weekend remembering our loved ones. So, Jed and I went with my Mom and Grandma to clean up the gravesite of my Grandpa Wardle who passed away in 2001. I spent a lot of time with my Grandpa growing up because he used to babysit me and my brother every day. He was famous (atleast in my eyes) for his breakfasts; me and my brother, Daniel, still love breakfast more than any other meal. I miss my Grandpa.

Me, John and Jed also went to Bear Lake to visit his Grandma Jensen and stopped at the cemetaries of his relatives along the way. We were able to stop and see his Uncle Brent and the old St. Charles house that he remodeled as well, and boy did he do a fabulous job! I wish I would have remembered to take photos of his house!

Abby and I decided to make some chocolate chip muffins one day when I was babysitting her. She was surprised to find the chocolate inside and kept saying "Yum, chocolate!"

Wow, This is a Huge Bathtub!

Jed has always loved the water, but hasn't been in anything bigger than a bathtub yet. When he saw this big pool, he didn't know what to do. He started splashing the instant his toes touched the water and didn't stop until we took him out for the night.
